Dead Heat Rules

In the context of sports and betting, a Dead Heat occurs when two or more competitors or teams, finish a race or event with exactly the same result and it is not possible to determine a clear winner. In various sports, dead heats can occur, including horse racing, athletics, swimming and even in some team sports, where scores can end in a tie.

Dead heats have significant betting implications, especially in scenarios where you have placed a bet on the outcome of an event and the event ends in a tie between two or more participants. In such cases, the rules for dead heats come into play, and these can vary depending on the type of bet and the sport on which the bet is made.
